Meet Dr Spenny
Dr. Stephanie Spenny is a Naturopathic Doctor and Licensed Esthetician. She earned her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington, in 2014 and has been an esthetician since 2006. Dr. Stephanie combines her passion for natural health with holistic skincare, and in 2020, she moved to the Big Island of Hawaii to practice wellness retreat medicine.
Her love for skincare led her to Naturopathic Medicine, as she believes true radiant skin and optimal wellness stem from a healthy gut and mind. Dr. Spenny specializes in Naturopathic Skin Care, Gut Health, Food Allergies, Gastrointestinal Disorders, Detox, Women’s Health, Adolescent Health, and optimizing mood and energy. She is a member of the Hawaii Society of Naturopathic Physicians and the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians.
Dr. Spenny emphasizes empowering individuals to advocate for their own health. She works with patients to discover the root cause of their ailments and creates holistic, personalized treatment plans. Her approach focuses on whole-body, patient-centered care, incorporating nutrition, bodywork, botanical medicine, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, and nutritional supplementation to achieve balanced health.
Living on the Big Island, Dr. Spenny enjoys the beauty of nature through swimming, snorkeling, camping, and hiking, as well as tending to her family’s vanilla bean farm. She also expresses her creativity by making herbal medicines and teas and loves relaxing with friends. Always ready for a new adventure, she’s eager to hear your travel tips!
I believe our bodies have their own innate ability to heal themselves and this healing will not just be accomplished by popping a few pills. In order to truly heal ourselves and get back to radiant wellness we must take a much deeper look into the body, mind and soul of the individual.
